Questions for the Cosmos (or Anyone Who Would Care to Comment)

1.   What would it be like to have a giant, mutant amoeba as a pet?

2.   Why does watching NASCAR races on TV make me sleepy? Am I missing something?

3.   Why do foods that are horrendously fattening taste so good? I'm convinced that macaroni and cheese will eventually be proven healthy as well as promote world peace.

4.   When you were a kid, did you have to walk to school? If so, was it really up hill both ways? Prove it.

5.   The last time you were abducted by space aliens, what kind of brain extractor did they use? Mine was powered by astro-squirrels.

  1. 1)Purina Amoeba Chow is very hard to find. Also, Amoeba's have a hard time getting the litter box concept.

2)The continuous drone of engines and little cars chasing each other in endless circles should put anyone into a sound sleep.

3)Mac and Cheese is a health food. If there was no such thing, children all over America would have died in early childhood from starvation.

5)The extractor was a female robot called a Sarah Palin. It extracts the brain and then fills your head with absurd nonsense.

  2. 1) don't want one, so don't care
    2) just the thought of watching car racing puts me to sleep, never saw the point to it.
    3) fattening foods taste good so that we can put on those extra pounds which will be needed when the world goes to shit like in a) The Road or b) The Passage or in numerous other books where the theme is the world is basically destroyed, few people left and some of those that are left want to kill you or eat you.
    4) yes, me and my sister walked to school almost everyday about a mile or so, a little hilly, but not too bad. Sometimes if it was really cold in the Winter my grandpa or dad would give us a ride, but many times I remember as the school bus drove past us that it would be nice if they would pick us up.
    5) I don't believe I have been abducted by aliens (that I know of), but I would like to be and of course the extractor would have to be powered by something eco-friendly. Hopefully they would extract my current brain cells and replace them with some younger ones as I am in desperate need of that.

  3. Great answers so far! Keep them coming!! Note to Denise: I think you may want to consider reading more uplifting books. Yikes!

  4. Note to my mom: An amoeba may not need a litter box if it can just seep under the door to go potty.

  5. I am reading a book now called "The Hunger Games" and again it is about North America that has been destroyed by war and a new country has been formed, but the government rules by fear. The country has 12 districts and each year 2 teenagers, ages 12 to 18, are chosen via a name drawing by each district to participate in "The Hunger Games" where they are placed into a vast arena and the last one alive is the winner - these games are to let the people of the districts know who is in power. It is televised throughout the land and people bet on who is going to win. Sounds interesting, huh? I stayed up until 1am last night reading, so kind of tired today. Denise P.

  6. 1. Boring. I've already got one.

    2. It stems from your usual driving method: falling asleep behind the wheel.

    3. So you are saying a tub of lard is good? Ick.

    4. No. I had to walk to school downhill both ways. This is why my legs slant forwards at a 30º angle.

    5. Wind-powered.

These comments left for you by Mr. T. "I pity the fool."
